New BRS President with Licensee Insight
The BRS Board of Directors would like to announce that Cody Rodden has joined the BRS team as the new President along with assuming the sales duties for the company. BRS CEO, Leo Neyer and fellow Board members including COO, Ted Neyer are pleased to welcome him to the BRS group. “The board is excited for the 40 plus years of experience and expertise that Cody brings from the metal building industry. The last 7 years have been spent as a Licensee with Alliance Steel Inc as the Component/Architectural Roofing Sales Manager and Vice President of Warranty Services.” His previous Licensee experience will give BRS a unique outlook and perspective to improve our brand and services to all our Licensees moving forward.
Leo Neyer, BRS CEO stated “Cody will be an integral part of improving relations between Licensees, suppliers and BRS. He understands the Licensees’ views, and now BRS will benefit from it to increase the value of the brand to better serve them.”
Cody has an aggressive plan to personally visit all 34 Licensees by the end of 2017. He wishes to put a face to the name while strengthening relationships through more individual contact as well as emphasizing the multi-level services BRS offers to Licensees. He stated” I want them to know we are here to support them, stand with them and want them to succeed.” BRS plans to continue to serve our Licensees in many areas such as testing, technical assistance, quality assurance and product development. BRS will be monitoring through in-house inspection/testing of outside seamer rib locking design compliance for weather-ability, longevity to assure they meet the tested performance criteria.
The new president of BRS, Cody Rodden spent 10 years in night school while working full time to attain an Associates Liberal Arts Degree from Tarrant County Junior College, then a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. This educational night school /full time working decade plan included attending the University of Houston during his 2-year stint as a sales/plant manager for Mizell Brothers Company before finishing up at UTA.
Cody and his bride Linda of 32 years, currently reside in Edmond, Oklahoma. They are the proud parents of Heather and Ethan and grandparents to two grandsons.
